Ohohoh Ohohoh Ohh!
Cerraré las puertas si te marchas
No me pidas comprensión

Si te marchas no te olvides borrar mi camino
Ohohoh Ohohoh Ohh!
Y visto lo visto no me amaste
Solo fui tu distracción
Con la boca abierta me dejaste
Al oirlo de tu voz
¿Cómo me enganas así de este modo?
Pues ve sabiendo que...

*Si te marchas.. *

IF YOU GO AWAY

Ohohoh Ohohoh Ohh!

I close the doors if you go away
Don't ask for understanding
Seek what you need so badly
It doesn't have to bee something in me
I've been your friend, your companion
And the lover of the moment
And now you confess that you want
To find a good love
You used me and i say it all to you
Well go then but knowing that...

*If you go away
Don't call me when you are lost
If you go away
Don't forget to erase my path from your memory
If you go away
There is no classification that would say we are friends
If you go away
I have nothing to do with you *

Ohohoh Ohohoh Ohh!

There is nothing new to see, you didn't love me
I was just your distraction
You left me standing mouth open
Listening your voice
How could you cheat me like this?
Well go then knowing that...

*If you go away.. *

David Bisbal

http://pt.wikizic.org/1-004-004746_8-David-Bisbal.jpg
picture is from here
David Bisbal is a spanish pop singer. His father was a boxer and he wanted to his son to continue his career but David had a passion to music not to boxing. 18-years-old David started to sing in a band called "Orquesta Expresiones". The real publicity came when he performed in a TV show called "Operación triunfo". After that the first album he released was a hit.

David Bisbal has won the Latin Grammy Award of the Best Artist in 2003.

The following song was in the radio for several times when I lived in the region Andalusia. It was kind of a symbol of the whole Andalusia. In the song Bisbal goes through the most known places of Andalusia: Alhambra of Granada, Huelva river, Giralda tower of Sevilla, Jaén, Malaga, Cordoba, Cadiz and Almeria where the singer is born. Andalusia is a combination of Spanish sun and arabic houses and music. As he sings Andalusia is really a child of Moor and Christian.

aunque hace tiempo nadie a vuelto a verla

camino a Jaen

eres deseo Al Andalus
y estoy soñando con hacerte mia

Al Andalus,Al Andalus ,Al Andalus, (Coros)

(oye,vamonos...),no,no,no,....

Al Andalus me vuelves loco
dame tu cielo pero poco a poco (bis)(bis) (bis)(bis)

Al Andalus, Al Andalus,
Al Andalus eres la luz
que deja ciego al que te mira

Al Andalus,Al Andalus
grito tu nombre en la multitud
eres deseo Al Andalus
y no hay frontera "pa" acerte mia

Aaaaaa, aaaaaa,aaaaaa,
Aaaaaa ,aaaaaaa, Al Andalus..

Al Andalus me vuelves loco
dame tu cielo pero poco a poco (bis)(bis)
Andalus.

AL-ANDALUS

This is a story about a goddess
Someone like her there has ever been
In her olive green eyes run the knowledge
Her father was a Moor her mother Christian
The skin of a queen and the body of a sultan
The hands moved the way of a gipsy
And her spells will rob your soul

Numerous wooers tried to captivate her
So many of those were distracted just by looking at her
Though there aren't many to see her today
I know she is not a legend
And I know very well where to find her
The one they call...

*Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus
I carry your name from the North to the South
Al-Andalus you are the light
That will make blind the one who looks at you

Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus
I call your name in the crowd
You're the lust Al-Andalus
I dream to make you mine *

They say she walked in Alhambra
And that she washed her face in the river Huelva
Then they heard her sing in the Giralda on the way to Jaén

And the woman from Malaga told I'm searching for her
And I confused her with the woman from Cordoba
In Cadiz I knew I love her
And in Almeria I made her mine
Now I know where to find her
The one everybody calls...

*Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus... *

Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus...

No, no, no...

Al-Andalus you make me crazy
Give your heaven, but piece by piece (4x)

Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus
Al-Andalus you are the light
That will make blind the one who looks at you

Al-Andalus, Al-Andalus
I call your name in the crowd
You're the lust Al-Andalus
There is no limit to face my lust

Aaaaaa, aaaaaa,aaaaaa,
Aaaaaa ,aaaaaaa, Al-Andalus...

Al-Andalus you make me crazy
Give your heaven, but piece by piece (2x)

Falco/ Reamonn

Falco. Picture is from here.
This time I focus on the song not so much on the interprets of this impressive song.

The song Jeanny is a mixture of English and German. The refrain is sung in English and everything else is spoken in German. The song is so stunning, scaring and agonizing with all those innuendos about something unnatural and prohibited that it was banned from radio play in Austria in mid of 1980's when it was released. Originally this song is sung by Austrian musician Johann Hölzel aka Falco, but I personally like the version of Reamonn & Xavier Naidoo (2001) so I present you that one. Also a Polish pop band called Ich Troje (1996) among other artists has recorded Jeanny. The live version of Ich Troje is maniac, agressive and attention-seeking (as all their songs) with the Teddy-bear and blood.

Reamonn. Picture is from here
Falco also made a trilogy of the Jeanny-songs though I  think the third track is only unofficially the "Jeanny Final" and it was released 11 years after the death of Falco.

Xavier Naidoo. Picture is from here.
They say that the song glorifies the rape and the scandal increased the sales. The song doesn't say anything directly but the news flash in the end just feeds the imagination. Feminist associations started to boycott the song and as I already said the song was prohibited for a while. All this fuss about the song just tells us that the song is very powerful and yes we do not allow the story of the song but the impressively dreadful song just reminds us that in the world there are people like the stalker of this poor Jeanny. That we should never forget.

JEANNY

Jeanny, komm, come on
Steh auf, bitte
Du wirst ganz naß.

Es ist schon spät, komm
Wir müssen weg hier

Raus aus dem Wald
Verstehst du nicht?
Wo - wo ist dein Schuh?

Du hast ihn verloren
Als ich dir den Weg zeigen mußte
Wer hat verloren?

Du dich? Ich mich?
Oder, oder wir uns?

Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
A lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny

Es ist kalt
Wir müssen weg hier, komm
Dein Lippenstift ist verwischt
Du hast ihn gekauft
Und ich hab es gesehen
Zuviel Rot auf deinen Lippen
Du hast gesagt:

"Mach mich nicht an"
Aber du warst durchschaut.
Augen sagen mehr als Worte
Du brauchst mich doch, hmmm?
Alle wissen, dass wir zusammen sind

Ab heute
Jetzt hör ich sie!

Sie kommen!
Sie kommen dich zu holen.
Sie werden dich nicht finden.
Niemand wird dich finden!
Du bist bei mir!

*Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
A lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
You gotta struggle and fight
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny*

News flash:

*Jeanny... *

JEANNY

Jeanny, come come on
Get up
Or you'll get wet
It's late already
Come - we have to leave
Out of the woods
Don't you understand?
Where - where is your shoe?
You lost it
When I had to show you the way
Who is lost?
You? Me?
Or, or are we both?

Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny

It's cold
We have to leave here, come
Your lipstick was smudged
You bought it
And I saw it
Too much red on your lips
And you said:
"Leave me be"
But I saw through you
Eyes said more than the words
You need me, isn't it so?
Everybody knows that we're together
From this day on
Now I can hear them!
They're coming!
They're coming after you
But they're never going to find you
No-one will ever find you
You are with me!

*Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
You gotta struggle and fight
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny*

News flash:
Criminal police has recently published the latest statistics about sexual abuse in Germany. It turned out that every third of 52 000 cases is about sexual violence against the children. According to criminal police those dark numbers should be even higher. Presumably every year over 200 000 under age of 14 gets sexually abused...

David Bustamante

Picture is from here.
David Bustamante (Hoyos) was born in 1982 in Cantabria, Spain. At this moment he is one of the most popular artists in Spain. He participated in the Idols like show "Operación Triumfo" and he is known also in Latin America.

"Cobarde" - "The coward" of Bustamante is one of the songs that I was listening in the radio in Andalucia. Beware the refrain is catchy. :)

Check also: “Colgado” ("Stucked"), “Nos sorprendió el amor” ("The love surprised us"), “Así soy yo”("This is how I am"), “Ni una lágrima más”("Not another tear more"), “Devuélveme la vida”("Return me my life to me").

Te escribo desde la distancia
No busco tu perdon
No fui capaz
A hacerle frente a la realidad
De tenerte a solas cara a cara
Y contarte toda toda la verdad.

*Cobarde he sido tan cobarde
Por vender tus besos
Cobarde he sido tan cobarde
Cobarde he sido tan cobarde

*Cobarde he sido.. *

*Cobarde he sido.. *

COWARD

I write to you from the distance
I don't seek after your forgiveness
I understand that you don't understand
Because I left with not much, without a goodbye
I couldn't
Face the reality
To be alone with you, face to face
And to tell you the whole - whole truth

*Coward - what a coward I have been
By selling your kisses
Coward -  what a coward I have been
By escaping like that into my loneliness
Coward - when I was so dishonest
When I didn't fight for the one I love the most
Coward - what a coward I have been

By selling your kisses
Coward -  what a coward I have been
By escaping like that into my loneliness
Coward - when I was so dishonest
When I didn't fight for the one I would even die *

I write to you from the distance
You might love me still
I know I don't deserve anything
For it was stupidity
For it was a mistake and now I know
What you said will not reborn
That all I would give to get you back
And to feel again the touch of your skin

*Coward -  what a coward I have been... *

You know - living without your love
Has made my life hard
For I don't deserve your forgiveness

*Coward -  what a coward I have been...*

Y no te miento
Lo curioso de estas cosas
Esque luego te das cuenta
De que que es cierto
Lo que cuentan
Que una mancha limpia a otra
Que otros peces y mejores
En el mar....
Siempre se encuentran..

*Y hazme caso que no... * (2x)

THE MAGDALENA

You spend two weeks
Blocked in your apartment
Staying in bed
Even the tears are gone
You can't stop crying
You don't eat, you don't talk
You don't dress yourself, you don't wash up
Everything is miserable

And the men in addition
Like this one and the better ones
This one was a slacker
What troubles he caused to you
Stop saying
That you can't live
That you love him
But he doesn't love you

*And listen to me because it's not
not-not-not-not-not worth it
To cry like a Magda-Magdalena
For this guilty man
I'm sure there is no use to it
They are all the same
They promise, bring flowers, roses
They'll never leave
Their worries last always couple of weeks
There is no-one
No-one who wouldn't cheat
If it's not because of one thing then it's because of another
But always something goes wrong
If it's not because of one thing then it's because of another
But always something goes wrong *

You have to forget
Distract, leave, take care of yourself
Your blessing of evil will be fixed over time
And right now you are blind
Every night you poison yourself
I know very well how you feel
And I do not lie to you
The most odd thing in these cases is
That in the course of time you'll notice
What is certain
What matters
Is that stain will be cleaned by new one
That there are other fish and
Better ones you'll always find
In the sea...

*And listen to me... *

Simon & Garfunkel

Photo's from here.
Simon & Garfunkel  is a succesful american  folk duo of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The duo was born already at school though then it was called "Tom and Jerry". At 1970's the duo splitted up but they have performed afterwards few times aside their solo carreers.

Duo's most popular tracks are "Mrs. Robinson" and "Bridge over troubled water".

Most intresting I find  the storylike song in the early phase like "A most peculiar man" and the song that I picked for this time "Richard Cory".  Both are bit ironic songs and totally brilliant I find. If you think about the feeling of the tracks then the absolutely best songs are "Somewhere they can't find me" and "Sound of silence".

They say that Richard Cory owns one half of this whole town,
With political connections to spread his wealth around.
Born into society, a banker's only child,
He had everything a man could want: power, grace, and style.

But I work in his factory
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be
Richard Cory.

The papers print his picture almost everywhere he goes:
Richard Cory at the opera, Richard Cory at a show.
And the rumor of his parties and the orgies on his yacht!
Oh, he surely must be happy with everything he's got.

*But I work in his factory … *

He freely gave to charity, he had the common touch,
And they were grateful for his patronage and thanked him very much,
So my mind was filled with wonder when the evening headlines read:
"Richard Cory went home last night and put a bullet through his head."

*But I work in his factory .. . *

Olivia Ruiz

Olivia Ruiz, french singer, composer and lyricist born in Carcassonne to a musical family under the name Olivia Blanc. Later she took her grandmothers maden name Ruiz. Only 15-year-old Olivia founded a rock spirited band Les Five with her friends and later she sang in a duo calles Les Amants.
2001 she signed in a Idols like competition called Star Academy. She was second while Jenifer Bartoli won.
She has released four albums between 2003 and 2009 and one live album in 2010 after a great tourné.
Year 2011 is sacrificed for movie  "Un jour mon père viendra"  ("One day my dad comes") where Olivia Ruiz plays Chloé. The movie will come out 28.09.2011.
Thoug I myself don't like Idols and stuff like that I have to admit that those programms sometimes do creat something very good...
Style of the music videos of Olivia Ruiz mixes costumes and plays with colours. It brings Christophe Maé into my mind and the coulours are bright as in the movie Amelie. You shoud also listen to the track "Les crêpes aux champignons".

Check also: "Elle panique" ("She paniques"), "Les crêpes aux champignons"("Pancakes of mushrooms"), "Peur du noir" live ("Fear of dark"), "Les météores" ("Meteorites"), MySpace .

Peur de noir is a circus like track with choir musical stylish singing and feeling. I can imagine a twisted clown face bumpin from a box and the dark corners of the frightening room...

(Olivia Ruiz / Olivia Ruiz, Mathias Malzieu)

FEAR OF THE DARK
I would like to ask for a night light from my mother
The door opens and lights are on in corridor
I fear that it will nurish my agony
I fear what it will bring, I have allways feared the dark
I know it, I feel it, the phantom is waiting for me

*They are teeming, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are dancing, I fall asleep
 And my mum stays awake.*

I wrap myself into the blancket but a watch for the vivid eye
And I listen to, I survey every movement
The shadow of a gohst is waiting for me
Lurking on the mat, I know it, I feel it
I'm afraid, I'm nervous, it burns the dreams of children

*They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are playing, I fall asleep
 And my mum stays awake*

Closing eyes would be the border of the forrest
Where I'd stuck and be paralyzed by the dread
I cry for to keep my eyes wide open
For not to risk myself

*They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are playing, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep*
