Y no te miento
Lo curioso de estas cosas
Esque luego te das cuenta
De que que es cierto
Lo que cuentan
Que una mancha limpia a otra
Que otros peces y mejores
En el mar....
Siempre se encuentran..

*Y hazme caso que no... * (2x)

THE MAGDALENA

You spend two weeks
Blocked in your apartment
Staying in bed
Even the tears are gone
You can't stop crying
You don't eat, you don't talk
You don't dress yourself, you don't wash up
Everything is miserable

And the men in addition
Like this one and the better ones
This one was a slacker
What troubles he caused to you
Stop saying
That you can't live
That you love him
But he doesn't love you

*And listen to me because it's not
not-not-not-not-not worth it
To cry like a Magda-Magdalena
For this guilty man
I'm sure there is no use to it
They are all the same
They promise, bring flowers, roses
They'll never leave
Their worries last always couple of weeks
There is no-one
No-one who wouldn't cheat
If it's not because of one thing then it's because of another
But always something goes wrong
If it's not because of one thing then it's because of another
But always something goes wrong *

You have to forget
Distract, leave, take care of yourself
Your blessing of evil will be fixed over time
And right now you are blind
Every night you poison yourself
I know very well how you feel
And I do not lie to you
The most odd thing in these cases is
That in the course of time you'll notice
What is certain
What matters
Is that stain will be cleaned by new one
That there are other fish and
Better ones you'll always find
In the sea...

*And listen to me... *

Simon & Garfunkel

Photo's from here.
Simon & Garfunkel  is a succesful american  folk duo of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The duo was born already at school though then it was called "Tom and Jerry". At 1970's the duo splitted up but they have performed afterwards few times aside their solo carreers.

Duo's most popular tracks are "Mrs. Robinson" and "Bridge over troubled water".

Most intresting I find  the storylike song in the early phase like "A most peculiar man" and the song that I picked for this time "Richard Cory".  Both are bit ironic songs and totally brilliant I find. If you think about the feeling of the tracks then the absolutely best songs are "Somewhere they can't find me" and "Sound of silence".

They say that Richard Cory owns one half of this whole town,
With political connections to spread his wealth around.
Born into society, a banker's only child,
He had everything a man could want: power, grace, and style.

But I work in his factory
And I curse the life I'm living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be
Richard Cory.

The papers print his picture almost everywhere he goes:
Richard Cory at the opera, Richard Cory at a show.
And the rumor of his parties and the orgies on his yacht!
Oh, he surely must be happy with everything he's got.

*But I work in his factory … *

He freely gave to charity, he had the common touch,
And they were grateful for his patronage and thanked him very much,
So my mind was filled with wonder when the evening headlines read:
"Richard Cory went home last night and put a bullet through his head."

*But I work in his factory .. . *

Olivia Ruiz

Olivia Ruiz, french singer, composer and lyricist born in Carcassonne to a musical family under the name Olivia Blanc. Later she took her grandmothers maden name Ruiz. Only 15-year-old Olivia founded a rock spirited band Les Five with her friends and later she sang in a duo calles Les Amants.
2001 she signed in a Idols like competition called Star Academy. She was second while Jenifer Bartoli won.
She has released four albums between 2003 and 2009 and one live album in 2010 after a great tourné.
Year 2011 is sacrificed for movie  "Un jour mon père viendra"  ("One day my dad comes") where Olivia Ruiz plays Chloé. The movie will come out 28.09.2011.
Thoug I myself don't like Idols and stuff like that I have to admit that those programms sometimes do creat something very good...
Style of the music videos of Olivia Ruiz mixes costumes and plays with colours. It brings Christophe Maé into my mind and the coulours are bright as in the movie Amelie. You shoud also listen to the track "Les crêpes aux champignons".

Check also: "Elle panique" ("She paniques"), "Les crêpes aux champignons"("Pancakes of mushrooms"), "Peur du noir" live ("Fear of dark"), "Les météores" ("Meteorites"), MySpace .

Peur de noir is a circus like track with choir musical stylish singing and feeling. I can imagine a twisted clown face bumpin from a box and the dark corners of the frightening room...

(Olivia Ruiz / Olivia Ruiz, Mathias Malzieu)

FEAR OF THE DARK
I would like to ask for a night light from my mother
The door opens and lights are on in corridor
I fear that it will nurish my agony
I fear what it will bring, I have allways feared the dark
I know it, I feel it, the phantom is waiting for me

*They are teeming, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are dancing, I fall asleep
 And my mum stays awake.*

I wrap myself into the blancket but a watch for the vivid eye
And I listen to, I survey every movement
The shadow of a gohst is waiting for me
Lurking on the mat, I know it, I feel it
I'm afraid, I'm nervous, it burns the dreams of children

*They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are playing, I fall asleep
 And my mum stays awake*

Closing eyes would be the border of the forrest
Where I'd stuck and be paralyzed by the dread
I cry for to keep my eyes wide open
For not to risk myself

*They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are playing, I fall asleep
They are dancing, the whits of fear, in my stomage
They are teeming, I fall asleep*

Toše Proeski

photo's from here
Toše Proeski a Macedonian singer and songwriter was once maybe the most popular singer in Macedonia. His first hit was (1998) Pusti me ("Let me go"). The musical genre is wide: pop, classic, opera, traditional, rock and even classical metal.

Proeski performed in public first time at the age of twelve at the popular children's song festival Zlatno Slavejče but the real career started in 1996 at the teenage music festival Melfest. He released his first album at the age of 18.

Along with F.Y.R. Macedonia Proeski was very popular also elsewhere in Balkan. The whole Europe got to know him in Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with his song Life (14th place). He also made a Macedonian version Angel si ti  ("You're an angel"). At the very same year he became a  UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Proeski is known for donating his concert incomings to orphanages.

Proeski sang normally in Macedonian or Serbian and later also in English and even in Italian.

Then came the dreadful day. Early morning on October 16th in 2007 - exactly three years ago -  Toše Proeski died in a car accident in Croatia. The car was hit by a truck and it drove into the median barrier. Sleeping Proeski got killed instantly in the front passinger seat. Next day - the 17th - was pronouced a national mourning day in Macedonia and the government titled him as "the Honorable citizen of Macedonia"

Proeski's last album was published two years after his death in 2009. This post mortem album called The hardest thing was in English and it was prepared for foreign countries. But the expanding never happened. The cover of the last album is chosen by Proeski's fans and it's a sad remainder of his too short life.

Toše Proeski was definetly too young to die, too good to die. His warm and strong voice is one of the best I know. And his smile too.

One example of his voice you'll find by cliking this and wind to 3:58 when he sings a moment without music. Or by listening Toše singing The hardest thing to a reporter. This song he never sang entirely in public for it was just made. And because I can't translate his songs I've decided to share one of his last songs which is already in English.

I guess it's just another night
Another fight
That all familiar scene

You looking
At your watch again
Saying what's the time
And where the hell you've been

Even on the other side
Wondering why I even try at all
Look into my heart again
With your x-ray eyes
Tell me what you're trying to see
Can't stand the way you look at me

*I put my
Hands up
I put my hands up
I guess I'm guilty
Hands up
I must have done whatever you accuse me of
I stand up to hear your judgement
It's always guilty
But I'm gonna make a break
Before you turn the key*

Maybe my life would be easier
Getting out of here
And trying to make it right

There's no matter what I do
I can't get through
I wanna just get by
You forget the liveness
We just exist as nothing left inside
Should I tell you what you wanna hear
And kill it with this lie
Show you what you wanna see
It seems to be that you need me to

*Put my hands up... *

When did we become these strangers
I don't even recognise us
There's nothing there to justify you
Feeling the way you do
But I guess all I can do is to

*Put my hands up... *

*I put my hands up
I guess I'm guilty
Hands up
I must return whatever you accused me of
I stand up to hear your judgement
It's always guilty
Girl I'm gonna make a break
Before you turn the key*

I guess it's just another night
Another fight
That all familiar scene

A HAPPY MAN
Why the people in love with each others
Are always a bit the same
When they come thay have
the same look of only desire to each others
They are happy people
Why the people in love with each others
Are always a bit the same
When they have problems
Well nothing to say about it, and nothing to do for them
They are people who love each other

*And I hardly know you
But it was just luck
That we go away little like them
We could have done it without feeling awkward
In a place for two
But if it's not worth it
That I come back
You have to say it to me from the depht of your eyes
How much time ever it takes
How much wagers ever it needs
I want to be a happy man*
Why the people in love with each others
Are always a little rebell
They have their own world for them
Nothing obliges to remain those
Who give us an example
Why the people in love with each others
Are always a little cruel
When they talk to you about themselves
About things that makes you draw away a little
These are humain things

*And I hardly know you..*

Kyo

photo's from here
Kyo is a pop rock band from France formed in 1994. Kyo consist of four members:(from the left)  brothers Fabien Dubos (drums) and Florian Dubos (backing vocals, guitar), Benoît Poher (vocals, guitar) and Nicolas Chassange (guitar). Their first major hit was Le chemin ("The road") featuring Dutch singer Sita. Their activity lamed before 2007 when they released their fourth and summing the Best of album. Poher has written songs for such artists as Emma Daumas, Thierry Amiel and Emmanuel Moire (more about him later).

And by the way the name Kyo comes from a King of Fighter video game character.

Though at some point Kyo feels like just another Westlife it's partly more rocking but still sweetlike boyish band. And in my opinion Benoît's and Florian's voices combine very beautifully.

I STILL BLEED
He has the right to put his hands upon your body
He has the right to breathe your odour
He has even the right to those looks that make him stronger
Put the warmth of your voice into my heart

*And it hurts, believe me, a blade pushed far away from my soul
Look at you there is not even a shadow of a tear
And I still bleed, I smile to death
All that red on my body
With my last effort I hurt you *

He loves to caress your face when you're asleep
And you let you say once more - once more
I know that what doesn't kill makes us stronger
But I - but I am already dead

*It hurts, believe me... *

But I still bleed, I smile to death
But I still bleed
All that red on my body (3x)

Luis Fonsi

photo's from here
Now to quite different music style. Luis Alfonso Rodríguez López-Cepero known as his artistical name Luis Fonsi is a Puerto Rican singer, musician, lyricist and composer. He also has acted in tv serie Corazones al limite ("Hearts to the limit") and got and won lots of awards and prizes.

The songs of Luis Fonsi are mostly Spanish pop ballads.

This song Llueve por dentro ("It rains inside") I heard once and I got caught. I don't know why for this song isn't so different to other pop ballads. But when I listen to this I'm sadly happy...

Check also: Estoy perdido ("I'm lost"), Aunque estes con el ("Though you're with him"), Lagrimas del mar ("Tears of sea"), La mentira ("Lie"), Me matas ("You kill me"), Vives en mi ("You live in me"), Quien te dijo eso ("Who said you that"), Album Review.

No importa nada

IT RAINS INSIDE
What can I do?
It rains inside
And the heart hurts me and commands
I think about you
I want to fly and overcome this sadness
For to escape

I want to live forever with you
Nothing is important
And to forget this silence that steals my mornings
To free and to concur it

*Today it rains inside me, in me
I cross the sky for you
Heart inundates when i think about you
When you are not, it rains inside *

What can I do if your look nails me?
Later it pulls out my soul
There's no goodbye
Only a distance between me and you
That separates us

I want to laugh like we used to do in the dawn
And little by little rescue the sun of your mornings
And the wind between your wings

*Today it rains...*

It's impossible to love you from far, fom far
But I feel that I die without you

*Today it rains...*

Rammstein

photo's from here
Rammstein a German rock band was founded by Richard Z. Kruspe in 1994. There are six members: Till Lindemann (lead vocals), Paul H. Landers (backing vocals, guitar), Rickhard Z. Kruspe (backing vocals, lead guitar), Oliver "Ollie" Riedel (bass), Christian "Flake" Lorenz (keyboards) and Christoph "Doom" Schneider (percussion). They are known by their dark songs and way to perform with huge pyrotechnics. Mostly their songs are in German but also songs that are partially or entirely in English, Spanish, Russian and French. Their lyrics are partly shocking (let alone music videos!) and partly full of words of literaly style and very sophisticated.

Rammstein has got may awards and it's known all over the world and in November and December the band will perform around the South America.

The following song is agonizing and powerful and the whole idea of the song is terrible. But this song is so impressive.

Ich habe Pläne große Pläne
Ich baue dir ein Haus
Jeder Stein ist eine Träne
Und du ziehst nie wieder aus
Ja ich baue ein Häuschen dir
Hat keine Fenster keine Tür
Innen wird es dunkel sein
Dringt überhaupt kein Licht hinein

Ja ich schaffe dir ein Heim
Und du sollst Teil des Ganzen sein

*Stein um Stein mauer ich dich ein
Stein um Stein
Ich werde immer bei dir sein *

Ohne Kleider ohne Schuh
Siehst du mir bei der Arbeit zu
Mit den Füßen im Zement
Verschönerst du das Fundament
Draußen wird ein Garten sein
Und niemand hört dich schreien

*Stein um Stein... *

Welch' ein Klopfen welch' ein Hämmern
Draußen fängt es an zu dämmern
Alle Nägel stehen stramm
Wenn ich sie in dein Leibholz Ramm –

*Stein um Stein... *

STONE BY STONE
I have plans, big plans
I'm gonna build you a house
Every stone is a tear
And you will never move out
Yes I build you a little house
With no windows, no door
There will be dark inside
No light will shine inside

I'll get you a home
And you shall be part of that all

*Stone by stone
I mason you inside
Stone by stone
I will always be by your side *

Without clothes, without shoes
You watch me working
Feet in concrete

You make the foundation look beautiful
Outside there will be a garden
And no one will hear you screaming

*Stone by stone... *

What a knock, what a hammering
Outside it's getting dark
All nails standing in line
When I hammer them into your wooden body

*Stone by stone... *

El corazón a mil por hora,
empapado en sudor.
Aunque no pases a la historia
siempre serás un ganador.

Una conquista, un nuevo reto,
con los dientes apretados,
la medalla es el esfuerzo,
el simple hecho de haberlo intentado.

No es la meta lo que importa,
es el resto del trayecto.
El camino más rápido hacia la victoria,
Nunca es el camino recto.

*Da igual perder o ganar
si das todo lo que llevas dentro.
Da igual ganar o perder
triunfar es sólo una manera de ser.*

Vivir a un paso de la gloria,
apostar echando el resto,
sólo quedan en la memoria
los triunfos más honestos.

Aunque no siempre gane el mejor,
el mejor saldrá ganando.
No tiene siempre suerte el campeón,
pero vuelve a intentarlo.

*Da igual... *

TO WIN OR TO LOOSE
Heart beats thousend times in a moment
Drenched in sweat
Though you don't stay in history
Your'e always a winner

A conquest, a new ahallenge
With compressed teeth
The medal is an effort
A simple act to attempt

It's not the goal that matters
it's the rest of the route.
The fastest way towards the victory
Is never the right one

*To win or to loose it's the same
If you give all you got inside
To loose or to win it's all the same
To triumph is only one way to be *

Live for a way to glory
To bet by leaving the rest
In memory stays only
The most honest triumphs

Though one doesn't always win the best
The best will profit
The champion isn't always lucky
But s/he will try

*To win or to loose...*
